Intercom Centrals are re-named as Intercom servers. Commend introduces the GE 700, a fully digital open 19" system designed for complete intercom networking. Commend leads the way towards the future of intercom.

G7-CNET-W networking card - the start of digital networking.

2001

First subsidiary outside of Europe - Commend Inc. in Mahwah, New Jersey, USA

2002

• Intercom goes IP - G7-CNET-LAN networking card, allows networking over IP.
• Founding of Commend Australia.

OpenDuplex®: Commend, once again a pioneer in the intercom field, introduces technology that allows talking and listening simultaneously.
